Curriculum

The year is divided up in six units to teach life skills, reading, science, history, performing arts, nature, nutrition, arts and crafts, health and wellness.

Nature and Adventure

Less time in the classroom means more time to do extracurricular activities. We keep our learning days short, covering basics like Math, LA and Life Skills, so then you can get on with other fun adventures you've wanted to try with your child.

Learn as you Grow

We organize our groups so your child can learn with other children in their age group, but also observe how it will be in the years to come. This gives opportunity to learn as a community at it finest. A 2nd grader can practice reading to the 1st grader who is learning to read, creating a beautiful learning ecosystem with a tutor/parent there as a guide and one on one assistance if needed!

Homeschooling Texts

Our curriculum is sourced from a variety of homeschooling companies and philosophies. Parents and tutors bring curriculum to assist in lesson planning that surrounds our educational goals. Those goals align with Classical Education (logic and reasoning), Unit Studies, the Montessori Method, Charlotte Mason's reading, and Waldorf with arts and musical theory.

What do we do daily?

1

Start with Subject Learning

Every day your child attends we start with Math and Language Arts. Depending on the level of learning, children are divided into groups to work on their curriculum. Making goals with a volunteer, peer or our teachers to stay on track with development personalized to their needs. Learning subjects in a fresh new way, and putting these concepts into real life practice to cement them in their minds.

2

Lunch and Recess

Pack a lunch for your little one every day to eat with friends in the beautiful yard, play on the play set, learn basketball or 4 square with one another, and visit the animals on the micro farm.

During winter months we provide games inside to set up with one another and play!

3

Science and Arts Last

We save the funnest part for last. This is where we bring in the science experiments, the baking explorations, the sewing projects, mindfulness practices, yoga, and unique learning experiences that we all want our children to learn in their education journey. We plant seeds (literally and figuratively) of wonder and curiosity at this time. Encouraging problem solving and empowerment in participation for all.
